Every year, over the holiday's my family does christmas cards. We always send one to our friends, family and those people that we hold dear to us.

This year however, we've added someone new to our list. Our deployed men and woman from the Canadian Forces. When I heard that there would be people not receiving anything, even a card for christmas, it broke my heart. As a military spouse I wanted to help.

So with the help from my friend at Tactical74.com and Monica Haddow Re/Max, Ottawa, I recieved mailing addresses to send off cards.

I ask you on behalf of these brave men and woman to add just one more card to your pile to be sent this holiday season.

The weather was so beautiful on Sunday. It made for a beautiful time to take fall photos of Jennifer and her kids.

Sunflowers! Who doesn't love sunflowers? This right here is one of the many reasons I love summer and why I have been so quite. Until moving to Ontario, you don't really get to see sunflowers like this. They are so much more beautiful and stunning in person.

Now that those are out of my system for now... lets talk back to school!

The first day of school is just around the corner, be it the first day of kindergarten or the first day of grade twelve. Each of those moments are special in their own way. Why not capture that with a beautiful photo shoot.

For $60 you would receive 10-15 fully edited photos provided by either CD or drop box within 48 hours. Currently booking evenings and weekends on location shoots only.

I know I've been so quite! Lots has gone on recently and I needed to take a step back. I got to do my first ever trip into the states! Washington was so much fun!!

The husband and I also got to go home, back east for a trip. It was relaxing and recharging. Not only did we get to relax, we got to see one of our dearest friends get married!

Now that everything has finally settled it's time to get back into doing what I love, which is taking pictures of you and your beautiful families.

Even though it was windy and really cold, Debbie, Doug,Mark,Melissa and their kids were great sports for their photo shoot! Thank you so much for letting me work with you again and being my first shoot of the year!
