For the first time since 1943, a totem pole was raised in Hagwilget on Truth and Reconciliation Day.

Named the Unity Pole, it represents a powerful moment of culture, tradition and community.

We were fortunate to be there and witness this incredible event. A day we won't forget!

Thank you to the Hagwilget community for allowing us to share this special moment.
