This prom session hit a little close to home for me 🥲
This is my little brother, Nathan Man.
The same kid who spent years bugging the absolute life out of me, stealing my stuff, arguing with me for sport, and somehow always getting away with it 😒. The kid I spent half my childhood wanting to strangle and the other half protecting.
Now he’s graduated and is heading off to trades school to become a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
It’s weird watching your little brother grow up. One day you’re yelling at him to get out of your room, and the next you’re standing behind a camera realizing he’s become a hardworking, capable young man with a whole future ahead of him.
I don’t tell him nearly enough, but I’m ridiculously proud of him. Not just because he graduated, but because of the person he’s become. He’s got a strong work ethic, a damn good heart, and the kind of determination that’s going to take him far (even if he still drives me nuts on occasion).
Taking these photos was a reminder that time doesn’t slow down for anyone. Somehow my annoying little brother became an adult while I wasn’t paying attention.
Nathan, I’ll always give you a hard time because it’s literally in the sibling contract, but just know I’m proud of you every single day. Break fewer things than you fix 😂, and remember that no matter how old you get, you’ll always be my annoying little brother.
