A little throwback to my baby sister’s graduation photos from last year. 🤍
These images came from two completely different days. The first was taken on one of the coldest days of the winter, high in the mountains, where we froze for the sake of the perfect shot (worth it). The second was captured on the day we celebrated her graduation with an intimate gathering of our family.
At the time, these photos were all about celebrating the end of high school, while also documenting the beginning of something even bigger.
This week, she officially passed her first-year Instrumentation TQ exam, and I couldn’t be prouder.
What makes this milestone even more incredible is that she didn’t wait until graduation to start building her career. During her final two years of high school, she worked full-time as an apprentice through the RAP program, balancing school while gaining real-world experience in the trades. The work ethic, determination, and resilience she showed then are exactly what’s carrying her forward now.
Watching her grow into the beautiful, kind, intelligent, and incredibly driven young woman she is today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Seeing her become a talented tradeswoman who isn’t afraid to work hard or chase big goals makes me prouder than I can put into words.
The world is at your fingertips, kiddo. Keep chasing every opportunity that comes your way; I know you’re just getting started.
Congratulations on passing your TQ Dani girl. You’ve earned every bit of this, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes you next.
