Just love creating meaningful photos. Its been a while since I've been able to photograph people and horses, but you just may see another session posted soon! Candice is my good friend and fellow photographer, so I'm always happy to create some photos and she does the same for me! Her mare, Silver, is the mom to my two year old filly Tipsy, and we hope to be out racing in time as well!

Some days you’ll remember forever.

Watching my son marry the love of his life was one of them. ❤️

Being both Mom and a photographer made this day incredibly special. I couldn’t help but pick up my camera for a few moments that meant the most to me—the Barracuda, some portraits, and a handful of memories I’ll treasure forever. The first image is mine. 

Then I did something that is rather hard to do... I put my camera down.

I handed the rest of the day over to the incredibly talented so I could be fully present—as a mom, not just the photographer. It was the best decision I could have made.  She has so much talent and I knew she would be there to capture the moments that matter most!

Now I have the privilege of reliving the day from both sides of the camera as I edit these beautiful memories.

Colin and your beautiful bride Anna, thank you for giving our family a day we’ll cherish forever. Wishing you a lifetime of laughter, adventure, unwavering friendship, and a love that only grows stronger with every passing year.

Some places just mean more.

For these two, the Sechelt Inlet has always held a special place in their hearts, so there wasn’t a more fitting place to celebrate their engagement. They even brought along their own vintage trailer, making the evening even more meaningful.

Then Mother Nature did the rest.

A calm summer evening, glassy water, mountains, and one of those unforgettable Sunshine Coast sunsets that just keeps getting better. These are the moments I love capturing—real, personal, and uniquely yours.

They travelled all the way from Ontario to celebrate this chapter of their story on BC’s beautiful Sunshine Coast, and Mother Nature absolutely showed off. 🌅💍

We met on the rugged rocky shoreline of Garden Bay after they spent a few days relaxing at Ruby Lake Resort & Trattoria. As the sun dropped behind the mountains, the sky exploded into the most incredible shades of orange, pink, and gold. It was one of those sunsets that makes everyone stop talking and simply soak it all in.

These two couldn’t stop smiling. After the last photo, they popped a bottle of champagne and watched the light fade over the ocean—a perfect ending to an unforgettable evening.

Moments like these remind me why I love photographing engagement sessions here. The combination of the mountains, the ocean, the rocky beaches, and sunsets like this is hard to beat.
