We drove to the other side of the province for this engagement, and let me tell you this was deeply special. To capture an intimate engagement of a friendship that has grown so much; and with such a respect for a passion of photography we all share, with M & E; combined with this incredibly dramatic backdrop… it truly was an honor and a memory I’ll never forget. We had rain. Cold temps. Chaotic, severe weather and wind warnings… and went full send on this. Result? NEXT LEVEL MAGIC, and memories that will go down in the books. Volume up to hear the concern and excitement of almost being blown off a mountain before we begin shooting.

They told me of this really cool hidden spot. A spot, special to them hidden behind the hills of Banff that no one has seen. When they asked me if I’d like to see it for their engagement session; of COURSE the answer is yes. Surrounded by mountains; the warmth of sunshine and clouds teasing rain; gentle brook and fields untouched. Such an honor to have this sacred place shared with me - and I’ll never share it. For this spot, this spot is theirs. Don’t worry though, if we run off to shoot a session together in the Rockies; I’ll always know of some of the best spots around. It’s been a hot minute, not for sake of not posting. 2026 is almost fully booked with exception of two weekends, though I’ll be opening a few more days for weekdays and winter weddings. Some incredible passion projects on the go as well, I’m so very excited to share with you! I do prioritize editing my clients’ galleries over social media posts… so for those of you that are waiting… a handful just delivered, and more coming ahead of schedule this week! Keep an eye on your inboxes (and your spam folders just in case ;)
