Behind every floating veil, there’s someone making the magic happen. Today that someone was Grandma — 70 years old, moving like she’s 50. We honestly didn’t believe her age until she said it out loud. Three generations, one frame, endless love. 🤍

Twenty-plus degrees today, yet the wind off the lake had me shivering in my vest. Lesson learned: save the lakeside sessions for the warm heart of summer, July and August — or pack an extra layer or two. Beautiful spot, brisk reminder. ❄️🌊

Started at 8 am with the first mama-to-be, and the day hasn’t slowed since. Four maternity and family sessions, one after another — different bumps, different stories, the same quiet excitement in every room. Tired feet, full heart. Days like this are the reason I picked up a camera ten years ago. 🤍

One brainstorming session and a whole lot of ”let’s just try this“ later... we created a look that’s entirely one-of-a-kind. ✨

A quick tip: We highly recommend booking this session when your baby has good head control. Being strong during tummy time allows us to capture even more of this gorgeous background in your photos!

Maternity and newborn photography will always be my comfort zone 🤍
But kids grow up so fast—so I’m learning and exploring new themes along the way.

(One minute of gratitude here 🙏)

Last month I shot fencing for the first time, and I didn’t expect to already have my second session so soon.
With every new theme, I really want to try something different.

Like this photo—I spent an hour editing it, and I’m still not fully satisfied.
(Truth is, a lot of my photos feel imperfect after I revisit them later.)

So I keep reminding myself:
Striving for perfection is good… but accepting imperfection is just as important.

Hope I get more chances to shoot fencing again 🥹⚔️

Aiden is such a smiley little boy. Throughout the whole shoot, it wasn’t us trying to make him laugh — it was him making us laugh the entire time. His joy is simply contagious
