I often meet people and they light up when I say I'm a photographer...they usually ask..."do you do family photos?"...ab...

I often meet people and they light up when I say I'm a photographer...they usually ask..."do you do family photos?"...absolutely I do! Families are some of my favorite sessions because of the energy that more than one person brings to the session. That's the magic right there! ✨️

This being said...the same people who ask are often the ones who don't think they're worthy of professional photos. I've heard it all when it comes to limitations you guys...

"I need to lose 10 pounds first."
"I'm not photogenic."
"I'll do it after I get my hair done."
"I have nothing to wear."
"My smile looks weird."
"I'm too awkward."
"Maybe next year."
"I hate having my picture taken."
"The kids are the important ones—not me."
"I'll wait until I feel more confident."
"I'm just not a picture person."
"My husband/kids won't cooperate anyway."
"I'm too busy."

The truth? Your family isn't waiting for the "perfect" version of you. They just want to remember you—your smile, your hugs, your laugh, and the way you looked at them. And you'll never really feel "ready" because "ready" isn't a feeling...it's a choice. The best time to get in the photo is NOW!!!! ❤️
