August 4th the Aurora Borealis came out to play. Thankfully we were in a dark sky area for a family reunion and I had my camera gear with me. There is something so calming and peaceful when sitting outside at night just taking it all in. Not always taking photos, just being there and witnessing the amazing night sky.

Last night the sky was alive with Aurora Borealis. Some of these were shot at my house, some west of the city but all were taken with my phone. I’m having some vision issues so shooting at night with my camera is on hold for now. No editing done to these other than adding my watermark.

During the last few nights the auroral activity has been high. I've gone out the last couple of nights to see what can be captured. New~ish camera, new lens meant a learning curve but I think I finally got things figured out! Taken at Wakaw Lake, SK August 19-20, 2022.

Reid graduated at the end of June so we managed to sneak in a quick family photo session. Brotherly love is very much alive and well in this family!!! Congratulations Reid and good luck at the U of S in the fall!

I did a family photo session a few weeks ago (back before the snow came) of these two amazing kiddos and their beautiful momma. We had a gorgeous evening with stunning light and I love how these photos turned out! Thanks so much for being awesome!!!
