Karee Davidson grew up in Northern Ontario but has lived in Saskatoon since 1994. She has been photographing people and places for approximately 30 years. Her love of life and ability to capture the spirit of a person or a moment is what makes her unique in the Saskatchewan photographic community. 2022 marks her 20th year in business! Karee graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 1
994 with a 4-year Diploma in Visual Arts. Since then she has built a successful, well established business in Saskatoon. The bulk of Karee's work is commercial contract work and because she does not operate out of a studio, all her photography is done on location. With a respect for conventional photography, it is her intent to capture the true spirit of her subjects while keeping her photography as honest as possible. Karee is constantly working to improve her technique and range of ability. Her family and 11 year old Labrador Retriever named 'Lake' allow her to experiment and are among her favourite informal subjects. Above all, Karee is an energetic, spirited person who likes to capture the same in others and does so with panache and a style all her own.
