This last week, I reached out to a few of my clients who I feel I’ve had a special connection with. I asked them if they’d be willing to write a testimonial that I could share on my website. It’s something I’ve never done before; It’s a vulnerable request, and I didn’t expect to be so touched or blown away by the responses.
Im always so grateful and appreciative of the people who encourage my creative endeavours, but Des has always been on another level. A creative herself, she bends over backwards to make sure the people in her life feel loved and supported in both their personal life and business ventures, be that with carefully curated gifts, brilliant ice sculptures for all to enjoy in her front yard, personalised hand-written cards, or creations from her studio. She is a boss of a female entrepreneur, such an amazing human, and she inspires me to wear my heart a little closer to my sleeve with every interaction. Above all, she has always been affirmative and positive about my photography, and having that when you feel moments of self doubt is such a rare and incredible thing. I make sure not to take that for granted.
