🎄 A little update about Christmas minis this year! 🎄

This was a really hard decision for me to make, but after a lot of thought, I’ve decided to make some changes to my Christmas mini session schedule this year.

With over 6 different family backdrops to accommodate throughout the Christmas season, adding new ones every year since I have started, I’ve always tried my best to offer something for everyone!

For the last 5 years, I’ve spent pretty much every single weekend in November capturing Christmas memories for families.
And while I absolutely LOVE being able to do that for the reality is that between photographing, editing, and getting galleries delivered, I don’t leave myself much time to make those same memories with my own family. ❤️

With that being said, I’ll still be offering a few scheduled days of Christmas minis, just scaled back this year!
I’ll be bringing back some of my fav setups, and I WONT be introducing any new backdrops this season with the exception of my new bedset up with an old backdrop.

Bookings for the bed set are already open, and already half full!
Hot chocolate minis will be opening for bookings ASAP. Keep an eye on my page, and stories.

I’ve been photographing this sweet family since the middle brother was still in mama’s belly, and getting to watch them grow over the years is one of my favourite parts of this job. My client kids seem to grow just as quick as my own babies…. Odd hey ? 😂😭

I absolutely love how these turned out, and I’m so thankful for the families who continue to trust me to capture their memories, year after year.
It truly means more than you know. 🫶🏻

Few more fall sessions this week.. and then I’m ready to get cozy in the studio!

This Thanksgiving, I’m feeling extra grateful for this little business of mine, for the trust you put in me to capture your families, your babies, and all the little moments that become some of the biggest memories. Being invited into these special seasons of your lives is something I’ll never take for granted.

This chilly weather today has me extra thankful for a warm, cozy studio to offer my Christmas minis in this year!

I’ve been wanting to offer a Christmas bed set for YEARS, and I finally decided this was the year to make it happen! I threw this together today and had my little guy model for a quick 5-minute session, and honestly, I think I’m already in love! 🥹❤️
Think cozy Christmas morning,Christmas books, matching jammies, snuggles in bed, and sweet memories with your favourite people. ❤️ I can’t wait to see your families on this set!

I have about 5–6 backdrops I’m hoping to squeeze into November and December weekends, and with the studio change, I’m still playing around with different floorings, so I want to get some sample photos taken of each that I need too, before opening up bookings for each setup!

So with that saying, here is my first Christmas mini! this one is later in November. I do have them planned for most weekend, so I hope somethings works for you and your family! *no pets with this set up*

Thanksgiving weekend starts today because my kids have no school tomorrow, so I thought it was the perfect time to share this pumpkin pie smash we did last year. 🎃🥧

This year, I’m feeling incredibly thankful for the simple things — my family’s health, a warm and cozy home, babies to cuddle, food in the fridge, and the little everyday moments that we can so easily take for granted.
I hope you take a little time this weekend to pause and appreciate those things too. Even something as simple as waking up to another day is something worth being thankful for. 🤎

I have a few photoshoots this weekend, and then I’ll be enjoying my own turkey dinner on Monday with my family.

I just love when session ends off with the perfect golden lighting, gosh we are sooo blessed with beautiful weather this year! this session was really hard to find a good sneak peek to share, sooo here are few of my favorites with probably more to come!

My since elementary school bestie her boy are some of my absolute favorites to capture. 🤎 I love that our sessions never really feel like a photoshoot—they just feel like a little hangout night with people I love, and I just happen to have my camera with me.

and I really should probably be focusing on getting all my Christmas stuff organized, but I’m just not quite ready to accept that snow is near. 😂

So instead… LET’S DO SUNFLOWERS. 🌻
With my new home based studio setup, I can finally welcome pets into the space, so I figured this could be one of my FLASH MINIS!

This is a little trial run. I’m honestly not too sure how this will end, but I’m willing to take the risk and see what happens. 😂🌻
Maybe this old sunflower backdrop finally gets the moment I always thought it deserved.

If you don’t have a pet and want in on these, the same price applies but please know animals will be in and out of the studio all day .

** Pets must be comfortable being indoors and around a new environment. For everyone’s safety, pets must be leashed or safely secured when not being photographed and must be comfortable being handled by their owner.
Please bring whatever your pet needs to feel comfortable. treats, a favourite toy, etc. Owners are responsible for their pets at all times. **

I had the honour of photographing this intimate backyard wedding on October 1st, 2023 - looking back through these photos reminds me just how much love was surrounding this day.

I would LOVE to fill my books with more intimate, laid-back, love-filled weddings like this one. If you’re planning a smaller wedding, backyard celebration, or intimate day surrounded by your favourite people, I want to photograph it. 🤍
