There’s something special about the friendships that form when you’re far from home.

These three arrived here at the beginning of the school year as exchange students, each embarking on an adventure of their own. Somewhere along the way, they found friendship, support, countless memories, and a little piece of home in each other.

As their time here comes to an end and they prepare to return to their families and countries this week, they wanted one last session to document the bond they’ve built over the past year. While the miles between them may soon be much greater, I have no doubt the memories, laughter, and friendships they’ve shared will stay with them for years to come.

Wishing all three of them safe travels and all the best on their next adventures. ❤️

Here's to the dads 🩵

The ones who may not be overly excited when a family photo session gets booked, but are often the first to update their profile picture when the gallery arrives, excited to show off what matters most in their lives.

The ones who quietly show up for every milestone, every game, every recital, every graduation, and every special moment in between. The ones standing just outside the spotlight, beaming with pride as they watch the people they love grow.

The dads who work hard, sacrifice often, and do countless little things every day to make their families happy. The things you do may not always be seen, but they are always appreciated.

From one proud observer behind the camera, thank you for all that you do.

All I can say is—WOW!

The Grade 5 and Grade 8 graduates certainly showed up for their grad photos this year, and with one of the largest crowds I've seen yet, it was an incredible afternoon from start to finish.

A very special thank you to Mayfield Gardens for graciously hosting us on such short notice due to the weather. Their generosity, flexibility, and hospitality made it possible for us to keep everything running smoothly and they deserve the biggest shoutout. Thanks to their support, we were able to photograph everyone and wrap up almost right on schedule. Having such a beautiful and friendly spot like this in our community is a true gift.

A huge thank you to my friend and assistant, Hannah Brown, who also joined me today and made things run very smoothly behind the scenes.

To all of the families who came out, thank you for trusting me to capture such an important milestone in your children's lives. This week has been busy, exciting, and at times overwhelming but in the very BEST way.

One of the things I love most about what I do is witnessing families come together to celebrate achievements, milestones, and the people they love. These moments pass so quickly, and I feel incredibly fortunate to help preserve them through photographs.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for another wonderful and successful grad week. Congratulations to all of the graduates - I can't wait to share your images with you soon!

Now it's time for me to dive into what feels like a mountain of editing! I appreciate everyone's patience as I work through the galleries. As always, I am committed to delivering the best possible images but first a good nights rest is definitely in order.

**Update Grade 5 & 8– Change of Photo Location**

As many of you have probably noticed, the weather forecast has changed once again, and rain is now expected to begin much earlier than anticipated.

To help us stay dry and keep photos running as planned, **Mayfield Gardens** has generously offered the use of their beautiful space from **3:00 PM to 5:00 PM**. As a result, all photos scheduled for this afternoon will now take place at **Mayfield Gardens**.

Please note that Mayfield Gardens closes promptly at **5:00 PM**, so everyone will need to be finished and off the property by that time.

I would also ask that everyone be courteous and respectful of both the staff and customers while on-site. Their kindness and willingness to accommodate us on short notice is greatly appreciated, so if you have the opportunity, please be sure to thank them for their generosity and support. Mayfield Gardens

Thank you all for your flexibility, and I look forward to seeing everyone this afternoon!
