The love I have for this girl; her smile, her power, her very beautiful heart is endless.

As I go through her photos I can’t help but fall in love with her energy over and over again. Our chemistry together is so natural that it makes my job a lot easier.

On a side note:
So many people have a hard time with a camera pointed at them… I mean, of COURSE we do!!! Outside of selfies, how many of us spend our time learning about what angles work for us vrs against us?! Even myself as a confident person with years of experience positioning others.. I have NO IDEA what I’m doing in front of a camera lol

That being said, I tell you what angles work and which ones do not. I take my time and choose the moments that I shoot very carefully. I create that laid back experience where you forget there’s a camera in front of you.

✨ 40. ✨

Turning 40 wasn’t just another birthday.

It was saying goodbye to four decades that I’ve had the privilege of living through, learning, building, making mistakes, healing, loving, growing, and ultimately finding myself.

This year, I stepped into a new decade with one intention: to allow more love, more positivity, more peace, and more patience with myself and the direction my life is taking.

As I looked around this weekend, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude. I was surrounded by so many of the people I love dearly, celebrating me. What a gift that is.

We are all walking our own paths, carrying our own stories, victories, heartbreaks, lessons, and dreams. And what a blessing it is to share this journey together.

As I enter this next chapter, I do so knowing how fortunate I am. There are so many people I love who couldn’t be there, and so many who never had the opportunity to reach this age. Because of that, I don’t take a single day for granted.

Forty feels different.
Not because I’m older.
But because I’m finally learning that life isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about embracing every season, loving deeply, and being grateful for the chance to keep becoming.

And to my incredible husband, Jeff… how truly blessed I am to have such an incredible man by my side. Life hasn’t always been easy, and we’ve worked hard for everything we have built together; emotionally, financially, and through every season in between. Through the highs, the lows, the uncertainty, and the growth, you have been my constant.

I am so grateful for us, for our story, and for the love we continue to choose every day.

A single mama.
A hard worker.
A woman who somehow manages to show up for everyone while quietly building a life she’s proud of.

What most people don’t see are the sacrifices, the determination, the late nights, the hard decisions, and the courage it takes to keep moving forward when nobody is cheering you on.

This week, I received a phone call from a woman who is opening a new business.

She said,

“Corie, I want to work with you. I don’t want to work with anyone else. I see how hard you work. I see all the amazing things you do, I have been following you for a long time and I only want to work with you.” (Thank you for your words and you support💕)

At first, I thanked her and carried on with my day.

I had just finished a meeting about launching my new venture: creating an all-inclusive resort experience in our backyard while continuing to build spaces for women to gather, connect, heal, and simply breathe.

But it wasn’t until today, while sitting quietly and writing down my thoughts, that her words truly landed.

My heart is so incredibly full.

Because as exhausted as I sometimes feel, I continue to show up.

I keep loving.
I keep forgiving.
I keep creating.
I keep building.
I keep picking myself up and moving forward.

And the truth is, that hasn’t always been easy.

There have been seasons where I have been misunderstood.

Seasons where my intentions were questioned.

Moments where my kindness was mistaken for weakness.

Moments where my heart was misjudged simply because I choose to lead with it.

But I have learned something powerful through all of it.

When your heart is rooted in love, fueled by faith, and guided by God, you don’t need to spend your life defending who you are.

You simply continue to be who you are.

You continue to show up.

You continue to love.

You continue to serve.

You continue to build.

Because the people who are meant for your journey will always recognize your heart.

What I’ve come to realize is that every footprint I’ve left along the way has become part of something much bigger than I ever imagined.

Those footprints have become a blueprint.

A blueprint for the life I’m creating.

A blueprint for the woman I choose to be every single day.

A blueprint built on faith, resilience, connection, and purpose.

There are so many incredible people I’ve met throughout this journey that I may never fully realize are quietly watching.

Watching.
Supporting.
Cheering me on.

And to those people…

Thank you.

Thank you for believing in me.

Thank you for your encouragement.

Thank you for seeing me when I didn’t realize I was being seen.

Every step has led me here, into this beautiful unknown that requires so much faith.

And while I don’t always know exactly what tomorrow holds, I know this:

I will continue to lead with love.

I will continue to trust God.

I will continue to create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and connected.

And I will continue walking forward, knowing that I am exactly where I am meant to be. 🤍🌹
