With a primary focus on wildlife, sports, and events, I bring a passion for capturing the personality and character of my subjects. Albert, Alberta, Canada with a primary focus on wildlife, though I do dip into sports and portrait photography on occasion. I am a strong supporter of wildlife conservation and ethical wildlife photography. All photos are taken ethically which means that the welfare of the animal is my first priority. No animals are baited or manipulated for my photography.

Ran into this beauty while out for a walk a couple of nights ago. The blood you see on his antlers is the result of him shedding his velvet. Moose are particularly feisty this time of year so if you stumble upon one in your travels, you'll want to give them a bit of extra space!

Today is World Photography Day (I mean, every day kind of is, but it's officially today). So many wonderful castles in Scotland. This is Eilean Donan Castle located just before you cross over to the Isle of Skye. It's the ancestral home of Clan McRae. Apparently I may have been the first person to ever photograph it with a blue sky in the background! 😂
