Before and afterβ¨
This is such a bigger discussion than when I originally thought about posting these.
What I see is not what you seeβ¦ or what anyone else sees for that matter. Thatβs part of having a unique eye when it comes to photography - everyoneβs is different. Some may speak to you and some may not.
Itβs not just about the editing but the photo composition, what the photographer values or sees as valuable - what I think YOU will value most. Getting to know you more and what you have envisioned for your session, what you want it to FEEL like, is so important to me.
Anybody can click a button and take a photo.
What you invest in with me is not only what a photo looks like but what memories it brings back for you in that instant. Itβs the details, the in-between moments, the love and connection that I always try to bring out of every one of my clients. THAT is what matters to me most.
Iβve had some clients ask me before to have the βRAW filesβ. What some donβt understand is that those unedited and unfinished photos are substandard. I would NEVER send someone something incomplete, even if they asked. They do not represent my vision or my art, they are fragmentary.
The point is, I guess, that I want you to know your memories are safe with me. I will never be careless with them. I will never treat them as less than what they are.
I will always try to give you my best and in turn tell your story through my eyes.
