As part of my new photography project to feature all the amazing men and women we have in our outdoor community, I had the pleasure of paddling the Barron Canyon in Algonquin Park with ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ง
Ron is an avid outdoorsman and a very talented photographer. Whether he is backcountry paddling in a remote wilderness park, hiking in the mountains of California or camped on the edge of a frozen lake in winter he always has his camera with him. I think for a lot of us who take pictures while we are outdoors, we endeavour to share not only a picture of the beautiful world in front of us but to invoke the same emotions that we felt there in nature in that moment. This isn't easy to do but the best photographers manage to not only do that but to tell the story of the land visually. Ron is one of those who does it very well!
The first 4 images are my own, taken as we paddled our way up the canyon. The following 6 images are from the lens of ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ง . He provided a small description of each photo which I will include below with the corresponding slide number

(6) "Another Quetico shot, the one from a little lake with a pretty island campsite where I took some of my most memorable photos ever in one 24hr period ( beautiful sunset, amazing auroras, amazing sunrise)! Sadly, this area was hit by wildfires this summer"
