One of the highlights of this past year was having the opportunity to complete a Photojournalism Fellowship with IndigiNews.

Through this fellowship, I had the privilege of exploring Indigenous storytelling through photography, capturing moments that reflect the strength, resilience, culture, and everyday experiences of our communities. I'm incredibly grateful to the IndigiNews team, the mentors, and everyone who shared their time and trusted me with their stories throughout the fellowship. Your support and guidance have had a lasting impact on my work.

This experience has strengthened my passion for documentary and community photography, and I look forward to continuing to tell stories that celebrate Indigenous voices and the people, places, and traditions that shape our communities.

Best of luck to everyone preparing for another season on the water. Thank you for the hard work, resilience, and dedication that help support our coastal communities year after year.

As another fishing season approaches, here's a look back at a morning spent documenting the hard work and scenery that come with life on the water.

Wishing everyone a safe and successful season in the weeks ahead.

Last night was more than a win. πŸ’βœ¨

The Elsipogtog Hawks took the ice and delivered a powerful victory rooted in community, legacy, and pride.

The special edition jerseys worn in this game are now being auctioned of, created to honour Big Cove Hawks legends and the generations who paved the way. Every bid supports the U21 Team Atlantic Warriors, who are fundraising to attend the National Indigenous Junior Hockey Championships.

As Joseph Photography, whose mission is to help voice Indigenous stories, capturing this game felt especially meaningful. This wasn’t just hockey, it was history, heart, and culture in motion.

Please check out the U21 Team Atlantic Warriors fb page for more details on the auction!

Small skates, big determination. Capturing the joy, focus, and fearless energy of the game at its purest, where effort matters more than the score ❄️
