In the series premiere of Local Legends, we catch up with Nina Polk at the Remai Modern in Saskatoon. The conversation took place immediately following the high-energy unveiling of her mother’s—the renowned Dyani White Hawk—latest exhibition. Over the course of seven minutes, Nina opens up about the weight of the artistic legacy, and her own journey as she begins to carve out a permanent space in the cultural landscape.
