🐺 Three seconds. That’s all Stan had.

Sometimes the wildlife encounters that stay with us the longest happen in the blink of an eye.

This gorgeous grey wolf gave Stan only about three seconds to capture her before she disappeared from view. But that brief moment gave us an image we’ve fallen in love with and one that has gone on to inspire several of our products.

One of our favourites is our Grey Wolf Kimono Cover Up, where that fleeting three-second encounter has been transformed into an elegant, wearable piece of wildlife art.

That’s what we love about using our own photography in our designs. A moment in the wild may last only seconds, but the image and the story behind it can live on for years. 💜

🐺 From a three-second encounter in the wild to something you can wear and enjoy.

Shop our Grey Wolf Kimono Cover Up and carry a little piece of the wild with you.

Flashback Sunday 🐻🌊 - The Day We Heard Bears Snorkel

A few years ago on the Chilko River in Central BC, we witnessed something we had never seen, or even imagined before…

Grizzly bears… snorkeling!

As our guide quietly maneuvered our boat through calm waters on one of our Grizzly Safaris, it wasn’t unusual to spot a hump here… a pair of ears there… barely breaking the surface. And then we started to hear it...

A soft whoosh… a puff of air… just like whales surfacing!

It took a moment to realize what we were actually witnessing… these grizzlies had their heads fully submerged, slowly moving through the river, looking for dead fish on the bottom of the river. The salmon had already spawned, and now their bodies lay along the riverbed.

The bears would glide along, almost totally submerged, searching for fish… and then suddenly stand up on their hind legs, kick a fish to the surface with their back feet, and catch it in their front claws, devouring it right there in front of us!

What a sight to see! It’s one of those moments that stays with you… not just because of what you saw, but because of how it made you feel being there.

✨ This is the wild we love sharing!

What a fun surprise this weekend! We spotted THREE different customers wearing our Pink Mountain Yoga Leggings while out at the markets. 🥰

There’s something pretty special about seeing our wildlife photography out there being worn and enjoyed in real life.

And how great does this happy customer look in hers? 💕

Thanks to everyone who wears a little piece of our nature-inspired world wherever you go. 🌿🏔️

Have you ever seen how an elk eats the leaves from a branch?

While out on our Date Trip in Nature this week we were very fortunate to come across this handsome bull elk. Watch as he slides the branches of the shrubs through his mouth sideways, stripping all the leaves off in one tasty mouthful.

He has already shed his antler velvet so they have hardened in preparation for the upcoming mating season known as "The Rut" - Stan's favourite time of year!

Notice how shiny & pointed they are - true weapons for battle as they compete with other bulls to build their harem of cows for mating.

Eat up big boy, you'll need all the stamina you can get!
