Who knew that two people with a shared love of nature would end up building a life, a business, and so many wonderful memories together?

From our first polar bear adventure in Churchill to the countless miles we've travelled, cameras in hand, we've shared so many incredible moments. And somewhere along the way, our love of wildlife grew into Back to Nature Apparel & Photography.

We've had our share of ups and downs, but through it all, there's nobody I'd rather have beside me, exploring the next backroad, laughing at life's little moments, and wondering what wildlife might be waiting around the next corner.

Well, nature has a remarkable way of hiding its own.

On a cool, frosty morning in the Rocky Mountain meadows, we drove past this majestic moose several times without ever realizing he was there. It wasn’t until my wife noticed the slightest movement within the willow bushes that everything changed.

🌸 Seven years ago today, I said goodbye to my mom, but the beautiful gift she left me continues to bloom. ❤️

My mom had such a love for flowers. Whether they were growing in her garden or blooming wild in nature, she always appreciated their beauty. I believe it was through her love of flowers that she planted the first seeds of my own love and appreciation for nature.

Today, whenever I'm out exploring and come across a beautiful patch of wildflowers, I often think of my Mom. I find myself stopping to admire the little things, just as she would have.

Little did she know that the love of nature she instilled in me would one day become such a big part of my life. 🌿

Seven years have passed, Mom, but your love continues to blossom in me. I miss you, and I'm forever grateful for the beautiful gift you gave me. ❤️🌸
