A super fun creative shoot with Kait and Michael. I’ve been wanting to combine my love for early mornings, foggy days and street photography and this shoot combined all three. We have such a unique downtown with historic buildings, boats along the water and beautiful views and it was so fun to run around the streets with these two. My favourite thing about early mornings is that you have the entire city to yourself.

Heading into my 11th wedding season this month and figured I’d share some updated photos.

•this is my eleventh year photographing weddings, but only my fourth doing this full-time!

•my why for weddings is you. I get asked often how I’m still photographing weddings after all of these years and the truth is I’ve had so many incredible clients that have made this job so worth while. It means so much after all these years to still see all of you liking my posts, commenting, sending me messages and still sharing photos from your day.

•I love a smile that lights up your face. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t going to share the first photo of myself. At first I felt silly for having such a big smile but my favourite photos of you are when you’re enjoying yourselves so much that you can feel the happiness radiating from you. In the moment I was laughing at myself for trying to have a soft smile and instead realizing I was standing alone in my yard with a tripod posing while my neighbours watched.

Only one month left until wedding season kicks off ✨ I’m excited to visit some new spots this season as well as some old favs. One spot I would love to get back to is Fogo Island. I had the pleasure of documenting this two day intimate elopement there a few years ago and think about it often ❤️
