Crowned Wolf Creative Cinematic, editorial, and creative photography based in Quesnel, BC. Grads, couples, weddings, families, and whatever other ideas people drag me into.

Affordable by choice, not by quality. Hey Quesnel! My name is Dave Williams, I am a single parent of three incredible kids and have been in the Quesnel community for over 15 years. I have been taking photos for about 8 years for large and mid - tier Mining companies. My work has been featured in annual reports, corporate communications and mining publications around the world. I still work in the Mining industry, but in my time off, I've decided to do what I really love, photography. I personally think that family photography is too expensive for a lot of families and I am blessed that doing this for large scale corporations has given me an incredibly fast and efficient workflow for editing. I also only take on as many clients as I can handle! This allows me to offer reasonable rates for my clients. I also believe that these are not MY photos, they are yours!! That is why you are brought along the editing process with me, to ensure that they meet your expectations and suit YOUR family. And that’s a wrap on grad season. 🎓

Emma was one of the winners of my grad photography contest, and she ended up being the perfect way to finish the year.

We had a great summer evening, an incredible blue dress, a go-kart, and a lot of laughs. It turned into one of my favourite grad sessions from this season.

Thank you to every graduate and family who trusted me with these photos this year. I had a great time with every session.

Layne absolutely nailed this session.

We wandered through the woods chasing that last bit of evening light, and everything just seemed to line up. The blue dress against the forest, the sun filtering through the trees, and a whole lot of genuine smiles made for a pretty incredible gallery.

I don't think Jessica could've picked a better dress for this shoot. The yellow against that Chevy, the white cowboy hat, and those boots just worked together perfectly.

She showed up ready to have fun, wasn't afraid to laugh at herself, and absolutely owned the camera from start to finish. Those are always my favourite sessions because the personality comes through just as much as the photos.

Carmen has been my daughter's best friend for years, so getting to photograph her grad wasn't just another session. It's a huge reminder that time doesn't slow down for anyone.

It's crazy to me that this girl who (along with my daughter) would demolish every ice tea in my house, whose laughter would ring through our hallways, isn't a kid anymore. We are so proud of you Carmen, and the life you are starting.

Olyvia's grad session at Kosta's Cove had a little bit of everything.

We started with the classic portraits by the water, spent some time with her family, grabbed photos with the people who helped get her here, and even managed a few quiet moments that are some of my favorites from the evening.

Yesterday was graduation, today is Promenade!

Aubrey showed up in a dress that looked like it was made for golden hour, and between the light, the wildflowers, and that beautiful old Chevy, everything just seemed to come together.

One of my favorite parts of these sessions is getting to include the people who helped make the journey possible. From photos with family to a few moments with her grandfather and his truck, there were a lot of memories packed into a single evening.

Congratulations, Aubrey. I hope Prom is every bit as memorable as graduation, and I wish you all the best in whatever comes next.

A proud night for all the graduates and their families.

For me, it was especially meaningful to watch my daughter, Ehlana, cross the stage. Couldn't be prouder of the young woman she's become.
