Crowned Wolf Creative Cinematic, editorial, and creative photography based in Quesnel, BC. Grads, couples, weddings, families, and whatever other ideas people drag me into.

Affordable by choice, not by quality. Hey Quesnel! My name is Dave Williams, I am a single parent of three incredible kids and have been in the Quesnel community for over 15 years. I have been taking photos for about 8 years for large and mid - tier Mining companies. My work has been featured in annual reports, corporate communications and mining publications around the world. I still work in the

Mining industry, but in my time off, I've decided to do what I really love, photography. I personally think that family photography is too expensive for a lot of families and I am blessed that doing this for large scale corporations has given me an incredibly fast and efficient workflow for editing. I also only take on as many clients as I can handle! This allows me to offer reasonable rates for my clients. I also believe that these are not MY photos, they are yours!! That is why you are brought along the editing process with me, to ensure that they meet your expectations and suit YOUR family. I am passionate about giving back to our community and small businesses, so if you've got a cause, event, charity or anything of the like, please do not hesitate to reach out, I'd love to help. Cheers,
Dave Williams - Crowned Wolf Creative

A few favorites from Madi 's grad session on Saturday.

We covered a lot of ground throughout the evening and ended up with a gallery that really captures this exciting time in her life. From the classic grad portraits, family photos and some fun shots with her es**rt, there was no shortage of great moments to photograph.

Thank you to Corina Michelle Maria for reaching out and letting me capture such an important milestone, and congratulations again to Madi on her graduation.

Wishing you all the best in the years ahead.

I was thinking while editing this gallery that being a twin must be a pretty incredible thing.

These two have gone through every major milestone together, and now they're graduating together and heading off to the same university this fall.

It's easy to get caught up in the dresses and the photos, but what I really like about this set is that it captures a moment between two sisters standing on the edge of their new lives, together.

Congratulations to both of you. I can't wait to see where life takes you next.

I had so much fun at this shoot! I have worked with Delilah's mom Kelsey and her dad Kris in the past and they were a blast. Pretty awesome to see it runs in the family.

Delilah is already working as a chef at Mr. Mikes and this fall she'll be heading off to continue her culinary education.

So for her grad photos, we decided to bring a little bit of that into the session.

This photoshoot came with snacks, a beautiful evening by the lake, and a lot of laughs.

Congratulations on graduating, Delilah, and best of luck this fall.

One of my new favourite parts of grad season is getting to photograph friendships alongside the individual portraits.

These two absolutely crushed this session, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Congratulations, Lily and Carmen! Thanks for trusting me to capture a small piece of this chapter.

Remember that grad contest I ran a few months ago?

Delilah Ledgerwood was one of the winners, and tonight we finally got to make it happen.

Couldn't wait for the full gallery before sharing at least one.

I've got a lot more photos from this session to work through, but this one jumped to the front of the line.

Best friend grad shoots might just be a thing!

Grad season has been unreal so far.

I’ve already had the chance to work with some seriously awesome grads and families this year, and I’m really proud of the photos we’ve been creating together. Every shoot has been completely different and that’s honestly what keeps this fun for me.

Still lots more coming, and I do still have a few spots open in early June for anyone still looking to book. Prices are on the last image.

Well, these two absolutely killed this shoot, and I’m so happy to finally share the grad friend session I did late last week.

I’ve been photographing Becky and her family for years now, so getting to do this session felt a little extra special. And Megan fit right into the chaos from the first five minutes. These two made my job ridiculously easy all evening.

Super pleased with how this entire set turned out for two of the coolest grads I’ve worked with so far.

If you haven't booked yet, I'm keeping it cheap this year, prices at the end of the gallery.

I’m starting to plan out creative shoots for July through December and I want to hear your ideas. The ones that really pull me in will get free shoots.

For those of you who might be new to the page, this is honestly the whole reason I do this. Most of the money from my regular sessions goes directly back into funding larger creative projects. Think of it less like hiring a traditional photographer and more like accidentally crowdfunding art while also getting good photos out of the deal.

I figured I’d give the people already following my work first crack at this before I open it up more broadly next month.

Cinematic weirdness. Fantasy vibes. Foggy forests. Vintage trucks. Welding. Campfires. Horses. Rainy highways. Small town neon. The kind of images that feel like they belong in a film.

If you’ve had a shoot idea living in your head for a while, throw it in the comments. I want to make more work that feels dramatic, emotional, romantic, chaotic, gritty, beautiful, or just completely different from the usual.

Let’s make some cool stuff.

Two sneak peaks in one day? Sure, why not!

Can we make friend group grad photos a thing?

Because this shoot was such a good time.

Half the session was actual posing and the other half was just them laughing and hyping each other up.

There’s just something really special about getting photos with the people who’ve been part of this whole chapter of your life.

These two absolutely crushed it and I’m kinda obsessed with how these turned out already. More coming soon.

I'm getting pretty close to full, but if you are still looking for a shoot in early June, I might be able to sneak you in.
