Portrait of a Sailor on the Terrace Dufferin

I was on a Photowalk with my partner and we met this mysterious stranger who presented himself as a sailor from Massachussets. He was smoking his pipe and a dense cloud of smoke was exhalating from it. I decided to ask him if I could catch a portrait of him. As an amateur of Lovecraftian horror ? thought it would make a great portrait.

Self portrait. Sony a7R, Sony FE 4/16-35, tripod, ISO 100, Focal distance: 28mm, f/3,5, 1/15 sec., Luminar Neo post treatment.
I was looking for a portrait with a serious look. Went with B&W for a more dramatic effect.

Basilique-Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Québec

This photo was taken on the afternoon of Monday, October 24, 2025, at the intersection of Rue De Buade and Rue des Jardins in Old Quebec City. A 13mm fisheye lens set to f/8, with the camera at 1/60s and ISO 100, was used. The photo was originally captured in portrait orientation, but the landscape orientation was restored through significant cropping in post-production. The fisheye distortion was also corrected, giving the image its distinctive look.
