I don't always share about this other part of my life - but this has grown to be a much bigger part of my world than photography over the past three years. For those who don't know, I am a bereaved parent and I have a son named Wilder Jay who died in 2017. My life is forever split into the before and after Wilder.

When I am not taking photos (or newly doing pottery) I am the Founder & Executive Director over at Butterfly Support Network Butterfly Run BC - which is a not for profit organization that provides free mental health supports and programs for individuals across BC who have experienced pregnancy loss, TFMR, Stillbirth, infant loss, infertility or reproductive fertility treatments. Last year our organization supported 1300+ individuals with free counselling, support groups, peer support and resources. We also had 2500+ people attend our annual memorial walk/run across the province. If you have not personally been touched by one of these issues, I am certain you know someone who has experienced this unique grief and heartache. Here are a few photos of some incredible bereaved mothers - and now friends, that I have gotten to meet and photograph at Bereaved Mother's day events in years past. It is truly an honour to remember, capture and commemorate each of these beautiful and very loved babies. Sending a big hug across this internet space to each and everyone of you who resonates with this type of love and loss.

How is it April already?! I swear we just wrapped up Christmas!

Here we are in April, and nothing says spring has officially arrived quite like tiny baby bunnies and the fluffiest baby chicks 🐰🐣

Happy New Year's friends! I hope you have had a gentle and smooth transition into 2026 :)

I had the most incredible families come to see me for photos just before the holidays and I never got around to sharing. I realized as I was editing, that this year nearly HALF of my holiday mini session clients this year were twin families.

If you didn't know already - I am also a twin mama of 7 year old spicy fraternal boys - and I love photographing twins of all ages :) If nothing else I am very comfortable with all the loud, busy and silly moments that come with twin families and families with small kiddos. I welcome all the chaos and I promise, nothing phases me!

Here are a few snaps of a few of the beautiful twinsies I recently had the honour of capturing. I am forever grateful to the families that keep coming back year after year to see me for family photos & that I get to see your kiddos grow & thrive.

Thank you to every single family and friend that supported my small business in 2025 - you guys are the best ❤️
