It's been quite a while since I've done some serious updating on this page and the group. Early 2025 I started college full time and put almost everything on the backburner while I was in school, transitioning back to work, and trying to get my life figured out.

It's time to reopen the studio, create a couple of amazing sets, and get back to being creative again.

I'm hoping sometime in July to be all sorted out, painted and finished creating a couple of amazing sets, update the client closet and be behind the camera again.

I will try to remember to take some progress photos as I go.

Mindset is everything. We had both been out of the studio for far too long, maybe even 18 months +. We both wondered if we could even do this anymore. Too much self doubt. Once back in the studio, after the first few clicks and a review of the images, we knew we were on. The confidence came back and we were both able to do what we love and let the creativity flow. Moral of this story, believe in yourself and the rest will fall into place. Have faith in your abilities, work hard, have fun, and there is nothing you cannot do.

Everything is better under the sun! A couple of weeks off of school and I knew I had to pick up my camera and do something creative. This beautiful lady sat beside me in class and we made some plans, so much fun doing this out at a lake.

The last shoot I did before the snow came was so much fun with . School started in early January, and I just haven't had much time to pick up the camera, although I sure do miss it. I miss having that creative outlet and just getting out there and doing things. There are times when my brain definitely needs a break and to be sidetracked by something fun. Soon... that's what I tell myself.

Taking it back a bit, gosh how I loved studio days and power sessions!

It's been awhile since I put down my camera and decided to take a break. How long of a break I'd be taking I didn't know, but I knew I needed to. Perhaps in some way I knew that everything was about to change and I'd need to focus on myself for awhile. It's been a bit of a rough ride, not going to lie, and I've started missing studio days and days spent adventuring to get those amazing images. Behind the camera truly is my happy place.

As the days go by I think more and more about returning, until then, let's revisit the past shall we?
