Spring is on its way, promise! Peonies are the most delicious early bloomers and the colours, their fragrance and special memories they evoke are unlike most other flowers. I’ll be offering limited Peony preorders for when they are ready. These will work like flower subscriptions but just for peonies. Greenhouse vibes. Snaps are ready to be pinched and rooted, watering on uneven surfaces is no joke but doable and the cutest itty bitty tubers from a dahlia cutting taken last spring! Most of them were large but had to document this lil cutie!

Anyone else craving Spring? Green grass, sandals, birdsong, and blooms…. Ballerina zinnia love! I never used to be such a fan of zinnias but there are so many soft colours and forms now that make them so much more beautiful than the red, orange and yellow singles that I remember. They are one of the easiest flowers to grow, low maintenance, cut and come again, plus saving seed is so easy and rewarding! I’m planting some seeds of these beauties for earlier blooms in the U-Pick garden today.
