“I want my future kids to say wow mom and dad were hot!” Safe to say mission accomplished! 🤪

This may have been the most fun I’ve had at a session! These two made everything feel so easy and I swear every photo somehow ended up being a favourite! 🤍

I’m not kidding when I say picking what to post from this gallery was so hard because there are sooo many good ones! I think I favourited almost 50! 😂

Just a cute spring evening with one of my 2027 couples! 🥹

I had the best time walking around with these two and capturing all the sweet little moments between them! The soft light and spring colours made everything feel extra dreamy! 😍

I already know their wedding day is going to be the sweetest and I seriously cannot wait to photograph it! 🫶🏻

I had the absolute best time helping plan this proposal! 🤍

Roberto had the sweetest idea to propose where they took their very first photo together along the canal! Unfortunately the bridge he originally planned to use was under construction (in true Ottawa fashion) but we ended up finding the cutest little spot instead! 🥹

I always arrive extra early for proposals and thank goodness I did because there were boat tours parked right there! I had to text him to stall for a few minutes until they took off! Thankfully everything ended up working out perfectly and the photos turned out just as I was imagining! 🥰

When I tell you I am obsessed with this surprise proposal I truly am! 😍

The original plan was for him to propose at a bench on the ski trail, they would sit down for a few minutes and then it would happen! When I got down to the trail (I always arrive super early just in case) I saw that this spot was way better! I quickly texted him and thankfully he understood the assignment 🫶🏻

It honestly could not have worked out more perfectly! The snowfall started at the perfect time, the trail was so peaceful, and the Parliament view in the background made it feel straight out of a movie! 🥰

One of my favourite things about surprise proposals is how real every emotion is! The happy shock and the way they look at each other right after… you can’t stage moments like that 🥹

Congratulations again you two! 🤍

It’s not every day that your neighbour growing up moves to Ottawa and gets engaged! 🥹

My favourite part about being a photographer is seeing people so happy especially when you’ve known them for so long! It’s so special getting to witness these big moments and then being trusted to capture them too! Sessions like these always remind me how lucky I am to do what I do! 🫶🏻

Also… Nicole is an amazing massage therapist if anyone is looking for one in the Ottawa area! 🥰

This amazing couple came all the way from Vermont to visit Ottawa and take engagement photos! 🥹

We got so lucky that the canal opened up the night before because the whole week leading up to their session was so rainy and miserable! As you can see it turned out to be the most perfect snowy day! 🤍

Their one hour session may have turned into two… whoops! Sorry I was having a great time and couldn’t stop! 😜

I love surprise proposals but my body always acts like I’m the one proposing! Such an adrenaline rush and I’m pumped for the rest of the day! 😂

During this proposal there was no where for me to hide and I didn’t want to be suspicious so I casually walked past them to ask where the parking lot was (while my camera was hidden). Kathleen was so sweet and gave me such great directions all while Kyle had a huge smile on his face! As you can tell from these photos I think she was surprised! Mission accomplished! 🤪
