My work is about more than taking photos. It’s about helping families hold their memories, see their stories, and feel their gratitude every day. I guide my clients through a thoughtful, relaxed experience and leave them with finished artwork, ready to frame, ready to hang, ready to live with. Because I believe portraits aren’t meant to be stored. We used to hang portraits on our walls because the

y arrived ready to frame. Now they arrive by cloud. We used to photograph and frame who mattered most to us. Now we scroll. Not because it matters less,
but because convenience quietly replaced intention. When you only had a few portraits, each one felt precious. Now we have thousands. Which one matters more? Love didn’t disappear. But abundance made appreciation harder. We didn’t stop caring about our memories. We just stopped giving them a place. Maybe memories are not meant to live in the clouds. Maybe they’re meant to live where we could see them every day,
where we could feel them. On our walls. In our spaces. In our everyday lives.

I’m excited and honoured to share that I’ve been nominated for North Durham Outstanding Entrepreneur Award by the North Durham Chamber of Commerce.

The judges will be reviewing all of the nominations over the coming months, and the recipients will be announced at the awards ceremony in October.

Regardless of the outcome, I’m incredibly grateful to be considered alongside so many inspiring local business owners. Thank you to everyone who has supported Champagne Photography Studio, trusted me to tell your stories, and believed in what I do.
