An outdoor family shoot is so much fun and can often be less stressful than being in a studio. Weddings are also a highlight for me. I not only love the photography aspect, but the interaction with the wedding party, family and guests. Who said that wedding photos have to be long and drawn out and tedious? I capture creative shots and every mood. Head shots are also something that is a must for business people. I provide the option of indoor or outdoor shots.

Because their school photos should actually look like them. 📸

School picture day has a way of making every child look a little bit the same.

Same backdrop.
Same setup.
Same few seconds in front of the camera.

But your child isn’t the same as everyone else.

Maybe they’re sporty. Maybe they’re theatrical. Maybe they love all things retro. Maybe they’re happiest outdoors, or maybe a simple studio portrait lets their personality do all the talking.

That’s the idea behind my Back-to-School Portraits, Made for Them sessions.

Instead of choosing one generic school-photo background for everyone, we can create a portrait experience that feels much more personal. I have access to a wide range of digital settings, and I’ll help you choose options that complement your child’s personality, interests, outfit and individual style.

Because these photos aren’t really just about documenting the start of another school year.

They’re about remembering who they were at this age.

The interests they couldn’t stop talking about.

The style they were beginning to develop.

The confidence that might look completely different a year from now.

From doggies to the cutest newborn... it has been a fun week. I love doing Lifestyle newborn sessions. Now that I have switched from studio to photographing at the client's home, everyone seems more relaxed. And just because we aren't in the studio, doesn't mean I can't create a little magic.

School photos are meant to capture who your child is right now.

Not just what grade they’re entering.

Not just the outfit you carefully chose that morning.

But the freckles that seem to multiply every summer. The new smile. The confidence that wasn’t there a year ago. The hairstyle they suddenly have very strong opinions about. The little pieces of their personality that are changing faster than we realize.

That’s what I love about creating school portraits a little differently.

There’s time to help kids get comfortable in front of the camera, let their personality come through, and create an image that feels less like a standard school photo and more like them.

Because when you look back years from now, you probably won’t be thinking about the backdrop or whether everything was perfectly posed.

You’ll be looking at their face and remembering exactly who they were during this season of life. 🤍

Some celebrations happen once, but the photos have a way of bringing you right back to them. 🤍

A bridal shower is one of those beautiful in-between moments. There’s the excitement of what’s coming, the people who have gathered to celebrate, the little details someone spent weeks planning, and all those candid moments happening around the room that are almost impossible to notice while you’re in the middle of it.

That’s why I love photographing celebrations like this.

It isn’t only about capturing the decorations or making sure everyone looks at the camera. It’s about preserving the hugs, the laughter, the relationships, and the people who were part of this chapter.

Thank you so much, Marcela, for trusting me to photograph such a special day and for sharing these incredibly kind words. It means so much when a family invites me into an important moment, and even more when the photographs become part of how they remember it.
