Last night, on the way to Trail Hub we passed by Hy-Hop Farm - I was planning to buy cookies for my food photography, but they were all gone (no wonder!). So we bought bread only - sourdough rye bread. This morning the kitchen smelled so good from the bread, that despite I don't eat bread, I cheated and had 2 slices with butter and herbs... Delish!

Lemon cheese curd dessert - 4 eggs, add 1/2 cup of sugar, grated zest and the juice of 4 lemons, 1/2 cup of butter. Stir until the mixture thickens and bubbles start popping at the surface. Remove from heat and cool down for 15 min. In a stand mixer start beating 2 packages of crème cheese and add little by little the hot lemon curd. Beat until smooth and pour into jars or glasses. Decorate with nuts or fruits.
