Through lens-based digital media, Canadian-British visual storyteller Brent Alexander McTavish (BAM art BAM) constructs immersive, high-impact visual narratives defined by bold expression and striking detail. I love being with my camera, alone with the elements, getting lost in the process of capturing an image. I used to need people to like my images. Now I create images for myself. So if what I create is not your cup of tea... that's ok. However, if what I create resonates positively with you... enjoy the experience and perhaps "Like", "Comment" and "SHARE". Found GAY Vintage restoration reinvention by yours truly 🤎✊🤎 A beautiful tender iconic moment captured in 1984 on Castro, San Francisco by an unknown photographer. Back then Bryan and I had just begun our relationship. He was studying for his PhD in Psychology in San Fran... It was electric on the Castro. So much hope, optimism, love, friendship and s*x. It truly felt like Mecca for Gay Men. There were no inhibitions, everything felt possible, everyone felt free, powerful and in love for once.... And yet, disaster was just around the corner. This image brings tears to my eyes for its defiance, optimism and kinship but also for the unimaginable loss that swept our world so brutally soon after.... We have always been here. Love is Love. Never forget ✊🏳️‍🌈✊
