Who knew there were pelicans in Williams Lake, BC?!

We found this incredible place about 115 km east of Prince George. 🌲
Ancient Forest/Chun T’oh Whudujut Provincial Park is filled with enormous old growth cedars and some of the lushest forest we have ever walked through.
Definitely one of those road trip stops that ended up being worth every kilometre.

One of our favourite things to do is pick a direction and see where the day takes us. This time, it led us to Oyama and OKFGrill where we found one of the best burgers we’ve had in the Okanagan. 🍔❤️

Add in a paddle in Lake Country’s Kopje Regional Park, some sunshine, and that’s a perfect summer day. ☀️

You don’t have to travel far to find amazing places, great local food, and new adventures.

If you’re in the area, put OKF Grill on your list.

If we’re planning a road trip, chances are we looked up every waterfall along the way. ⛰️Sometimes those little detours end up being the best part of the adventure…especially when we occasionally get lost trying to find the way. 💙
