Cassandra Karras School of Highland Dance is thrilled to celebrate Alison & Zaira on their incredible success at the BC Closed Championships this weekend! 🏆

Alison proudly earned the Champion title for her class, along with the honour of representing British Columbia at the ScotDance Canada Championship Series in Moncton this July.

Zaira achieved an outstanding 3rd Runner-Up placement in her class. A special shoutout to Kate McRae & Lynne Griffiths for their support and guidance in Zaira’s dancing journey this year!

A huge congratulations to Alison & Zaira on their well-deserved success and beautiful dancing. We are so proud of you both! ✨

JP was shadow judging and actively learning from Dave Cubberly during the event.

Love how this edited photo turned out — colours pop, avocado looks creamy, and the black bowl really frames it nicely.

Clean, vibrant presentation with crisp greens, perfectly fanned avocado, sweet orange segments, candied pecans, whipped goat cheese, and bright lemon basil dressing.
Added the grilled chicken on the side — tender and well seasoned. Makes it a solid, fresh main.
Tastes as good as it looks. Fresh, balanced, and perfect for the seaside resort vibe.

Highly Recommended. Great choice for lunch or a light dinner.

Big thanks to the organizers and volunteers of the 163rd Victoria Highland Games at Topaz Park! Our dancers from the Cassandra Karras School of Highland Dance had a great time competing and soaking up all the Scottish culture. Really appreciate the chance to dance at this historic event, the longest-running Highland Games in North America!
