the confidence, messaging, dream clients, consistency etc. comes after you started before you felt ready. or shared the opinion you were scared to say out loud.

i’ve been so lucky in my lil ol life to grow alongside in all her eras, but this one feels like a really special and long overdue one.

i’ve been a student of mel’s for 6 going on 7 years and the way she has held space for me in all my grief, growth, loss, wins etc has been such a gift.

to walk alongside women who choose to take fu**ed up giant ass moves towards their goals in life is forever inspiring. i’m so proud of miss melly and the trust she’s placed in her people to join her in this next chapter of studio ownership.

let this be a reminder to all that when you believe in yourself, and take bold action to prove it, that it will completely change the trajectory of your life in ways that younger you would be astonished by. now go make them proud, ya?

heres to you, melly, and all the magic you bring to our lives. we are so lucky.

this was my second time shooting for and we had the best time ever.

cheri wanted their photos to encapsulate the vibe of the team as a whole. kind, fun, approachable, soft, loving. i think we crushed it but i’ll let you be the judge.

we did a mixture of updated individual portraits and fun group shots (the final gallery may or may not have had 94 bonus images lmao how am i supposed to pick?????)
