It’s me — Jade!!

I realized there are quite a few new faces around here, so I thought it was time to properly introduce myself. 🖤

I’m a photographer, content creator, proud surrogate, dog mom, road-trip enthusiast, concert lover, and someone who feels most alive capturing real emotion, action and genuine connections. 📸✨

My family & friends mean absolutely everything to me. I’m obsessed with music, traveling, adventure, house plants and honestly… all animals!

I’m also incredibly passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space for ALL humans — both in front of my camera and in life. 🌈

And behind the scenes? I’m lucky enough to have the most amazing team of photographers and assistants by my side!

✨ My Birth Story ✨

Instagram only allows 3 minute videos and that is not long enough to explain everything lol the full video is posted on my TikTok!

Here is the quickest written version:
We tried for a VBAC. After 10 hours of labour I went from 1cm to 0cm (lol) we decided it would be safest to do a c-section (which likely saved my uterus and life!)

Baby was born and she was perfect. When they removed my placenta it was stuck to my uterus and my uterus ended up flipping inside out. So they had to quickly revert my uterus and put it back inside. Luckily they were able to fix everything with my uterus and finish my c-section.

Just as I got to the recovery room I began to hemorrhage. They did the first fundal check and my uterus was not firm and was expelling blood clots. The doctor decided to give me a shot to make my uterus contract. The first shot didn't work, so they gave me a second dose. Unfortunately that didn't work either.

The next step was a manual removal of the clots which involved the doctor using her hands to scoop the clots out of my uterus. She did this once but wasn't able to get them all. So she did it again with a resident pushing on my stomach from the top... At this point my spinal had already fully worn off... This was the most excruciatingly painful thing I've ever experienced in my entire life...

After that they gave me 3 more doses of the medication that makes your uterus contract. This entire time they were also continuing to do fundal massages to try to make the uterus contract and firm up every 15 minutes... I lost over 4 liters of blood and required a massive transfusion protocol. It took them over 9 hours to stabilize me! It was a wild ride but I would do it all again to bring sweet Amalia to this earth and to reunite her with her dads and big sister!

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, supported, cared for and loved me and my family over the last little while! I'm excited to continue healing and work on building up a healthy, strong body again!

This year pushed me creatively, emotionally, and professionally. I photographed moments I never imagined I’d be trusted with, stood in rooms filled with music and magic (hello, Rock The Park 🎶), and finally gave myself permission to create just for the sake of creating again.

I took risks — buying gear that intimidated me, saying yes to things that scared me, and carving out time for creative shoots that reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

Looking ahead to 2026 🎉
