I’ve been a little quiet over here lately 👀

Not because I’ve stopped creating. Quite the opposite.

I’ve been working behind the scenes on some pretty big changes for NK Creative Studios. Refining what I want this business to look like, what I want to create, and honestly, what feels the most me.

Something new is coming. And I’m really, really excited for this next chapter. 🤍

For now, just a little reminder that I’m still here. 🥰

It took place on the very last day I got to spend with my Piper. Because of the kindness and flexibility of this sweet family, I was able to stay home and be fully present with her during those final hours.

Thank you to my clients for your understanding, and thank you to Angelika for stepping in and caring for my clients so well.

I almost waited.

Life gets busy. We tell ourselves we’ll do the photos later. When things calm down. When we feel more ready. When the timing is better.

But after losing my sweet Piper, these photos became some of the most meaningful things I own.

This sale isn’t really about sales.
It’s about remembering.
It’s about freezing the moments that matter before life changes again.

You don’t realize the dog you get in your 20’s, during the hardest time in your life, to help you heal… will also become the biggest heartbreak in your 30’s.

Today we said goodbye to our sweet Piper girl.

She was there through so many versions of me. She wasn’t “just a dog.” She was home. She was comfort. She was unconditional love in its purest form. She was my soul dog. No other dog will ever fill the void left in her absence.

Life will never feel quite the same without her here.

But as shattered as my heart is, there’s peace in knowing she’s no longer in pain. She fought so hard, and I hope she knew every single day how deeply she was loved.

Thank you for growing up with me, Piper. Thank you for saving me in ways you’ll never understand.

I’ll miss you forever. 🤍
