A review of Parc Omega : We were really excited to do the “Sleeping with the Wolves” experience at Parc Omega. We had seen the videos and pictures online of the wolves walking right up to the cabin windows, so that was a big part of what we were looking forward to.
We booked a two-bedroom cabin for my wife, her girlfriends and me. It was Cabin #15.
The wolves did come by our cabin once, which was really cool to see, but they didn’t come particularly close and didn’t stay very long. I completely understand that they’re wild but captive animals and you can’t control what they do but there is some control, like listing the feeding times. I think the issue is that the videos and photos can definitely give you the impression that the wolves will be hanging around your cabin quite a bit. It also seems like your experience is based on the cabin you get.
We did our homework before going and made sure we knew what to bring and what was included. There were just a few little things that I think could be improved, like having coffee filters available for the coffee maker. A tv would be nice since there is a lot of down time if you don’t want to leave your cabin.
I also think there should be early access to the park before the gates open so you can enjoy the parc with out the crazy crowds, and we really enjoyed the night walk light but this should also be included with the stay.
Overall, I’m glad we did it and it was definitely a different experience. I just think we went in with pretty high expectations, and the actual experience didn’t quite match what we had seen online.
Would I do it again? Probably not. But I’m still glad we went and experienced it for ourselves
