A musician’s favourite sensory experience = strumming dads guitar.

In 20 years they are going to want to look back and remember what it felt like to listen to dad play music in their living room. The feel of the guitar under their fingers sitting in his lap, mom laughing in the background. Sometimes it really hits me that these aren’t photoshoots and photographs they are moments and memories and they are YOURS. And I’m honoured to capture them.

✨ P A R T O N E ✨ of M + E’s whimsical woodland wedding

From 90s girlhood sleepover vibes to Pokémon cards, their getting ready time was immaculate and entirely them.

Then we moved on to private vows, with rock paper scissors deciding who goes first 😍

Their ceremony was full of laughter and emotion and truly felt so intimately their own. Colourful yet whimsical.

I can’t wait to share more from this phenomenal day!

Family on film 🎞️

One of my favourite parts about photographing your family on 35mm film is that it’s slower, more intentional, and truly allows me to take my time with your family.
I’ve been working on being more intentional with all my sessions, digital or film. Allowing kids and parents more time to enjoy the moments we are capturing. Giving time to people who may need more time. And simply ensuring we are having fun and creating genuine memories rather than cheesing for the camera.
My goal is to create a tangible memory that you will enjoy 10 years from now. Something that truly captures who you and your kids are!
