How do you celebrate your wins?

Every Monday, in my group chat with other Ottawa entrepreneurs, we prompt each other to list out our wins from the past week. Big or small, they all get celebrated.

I also do it as part of my daily journaling. I write down one win from the past 24 hours.

I find this helps me be more positive and see the progress I've made.

About last night...

Thank you Joël Poirier for another amazing Joël's VIP Masterminds for a great evening.

It was an amazing opportunity to learn from Ian Lajoie #1 Performance Coach & Speaker & Majeed Mogharreban, who shared some great insights on .

Great to network and meet other entrepreneurs like Paul Arnold and Shane Wicks.

Of course, I can't forget about my mate Hello from the GRID, the Designer from Down Under. Laughs are always guaranteed when he's in the room!

Il y a longtemps que je voulais créer des photos avec des tournesols, mais je n'avais jamais pris le temps de le faire.

J'ai commencé avec un bouquet acheté à l'épicerie. Je me suis amusé avec les jeux de lumière et différents arrières-plan dans le studio. Puis je me suis rendu dans un champ, au lever de soleil, alors qu'il n'y avait pas un nuage dans le ciel.

J'aime vraiment beaucoup cette fleur. Ses couleurs vives et contrastantes, sa forme, ses textures : tous ces éléments se juxtaposent pour donner un résultat spectaculaire.

À refaire l'an prochain, sans hésitation!

I had wanted to create photos with sunflowers for a long time, but I had never actually taken time to do it. That changed this month.

I started with a bouquet purchased at the grocery store. I set them up in the studio, and played with the light schemes and with various backgrounds. Then I made my way to a vast field at sunrise, when there was not a cloud in the sky.

I really like this flower. Its vivid, contrasting colours, its shape, its textures: everything combines beautifully to create spectacular art pieces.

I will give it another shot next year, without hesitation!

Je ne me sens pas très bien, ce matin. Je me suis auto-diagnostiqué et je souffre d'un manque de soirées passées à prendre des photos dans les rues de la Grèce.

Est-ce qu'il y a un docteur qui pourrait me prescrire un mois de vacances sur une île grecque? C'est une question de santé mentale, alors mes assurances devraient le couvrir.

I am not feeling well today. I self-diagnosed myself, and I am suffering from a severe lack of evenings spent creating street photography in Greece.

What are the chances I can get a doctor to prescribe a month's vacation on a Greek island? This is a mental health issue, and travel is the only remedy, obviously.

Is there a doctor in this room?

Joyeuse journée nationale des patates frites!! 🍟

Ça tombe bien, c'est vendredi aujourd'hui, et tout le monde sait que les calories consommées le vendredi ne comptent pas, alors on se gâte!

Si vous passez dans le coin d'Ottawa, faites un arrêt chez Pearson Street Smash Burgers & Melts. Leurs frites sont excellentes et la poutine l'est tout autant. Ils utilisent des ingrédients frais et ça paraît dans le goût!

Et ça fait de belles photos, aussi! 😉

If you're in or around Ottawa, I highly recommend getting your fix at Pearson Street.

I have yet to find a place where they make a better fry, and their poutine game is very strong as well. Fresh ingredients make a world of difference (and they look great in photos, too!).

Season 1 of Coffee & Click was amazing! It went way beyond my expectations!!

I sat across from 13 beautiful humans and listened to their amazing stories.

Stories of resilience, courage, love, family, and dreams. Touching stories. Lessons in bravery. And lots of laughter.
Some friendships were strengthened, others were born.

Thank you Joël, Julia, Haniya, Kyle, Rudy, Laura, Giscarde, Olga, Callum, Melissa, Karl, Alex, and Sylvana. I am very grateful for each and every one of you!
