Both my clients and I show up to session day with confidence, because we have a plan we made together.

When you set the scenes with intention, you already know what the focus is. You know the message you want to deliver, the prospect type your talking to, and the props and locations that support and strengthen your visuals.

All that's left is to show up and shine!

I'm excited for another great session today!

What do these photos need to say about you? What information and feelings do you want to impart to your audience? When you decide what matters, everything is created to support that message.

Choose the location, the story you want to share, the why you want to lean into, and the impact you want to impart. Set up supports to strengthen your message and keep you focused and in the right head pace.

You don’t need the perfect pose, or the exact words. You can still feel the moment and show up, because you have the plan to guide you and keep you on track.

Showing the real human behind the brand is needed to build trust with your audience. It’s the attraction that brings people in and makes your expertise and lessons all the more memorable.

Finding the balance between being human and creating targeted info for your ideal clients is where the real connections live.

Picture this: you're talking with a client or an amazing new connection and they want to know more. They ask if you have a website or a social media they can check out.

How do you react? What is your gut reaction?

Do you say heck yes and give it to them?

Or do you hesitate?

When you stop feeling excited to show people your website and all the places you show up online, that's a signal. You've outgrown that version of you.

Our online presence is meant to continue to nurture and attract clients and connections. If they don't represent you, they'll never connect to the right people. That means less clients, slower trust building, and missed opportunities.

The disconnect starts with your visuals. They're the first thing that grabs your eyes, and they set the tone for the whole experience. They also tend to be the peice that is forgotten or delayed the most.

Yes, as adults, our overall appearance doesn't necessarily change as much year to year, but how we carry ourselves does. It's our elevated confidence. It's our growing teams. It's our more developed processes. It's our growing expertise. It's the updated style that embodies our higher excellence. It's being more comfortable being all.the things that make you so unique, memorable, and irreplaceable!

Do your visuals still feel like you? Or is that person outdated? Your online presence should be just as strong as your in-person presence. Anything short is holding you back.

Planning what feels natural for the situation will always look better than trying to make something up in the moment. We all hate the line "Stand there and look natural" 😆

You can write, demonstrate, arrange, point, or hold something...

When you do something real, it looks and feels natural.

Little movements go a long way towards looking and feeling less stiff.

You don't need to dance across the room. Try turning towards the camera, taking one intentional step forward, looking up from your work, drawing attention to something, or adjusting your posture.

The right location adds depth to all that you say and do.

Pick a location that gives you context and things to do. It could be your office space, somewhere you'd work with a client, or a location connected to the story you're sharing.

Joy is whatever feels right to you.

That could be focus, curiosity, calm, a gentle smile, or any other genuine expression.

People will connect with what's real.

Movement should support what you want people to understand.

Does the movement make you feel more present? Show your skill and experience? Make you more approachable? Make you more engaged in what you're doing?

If movement isn't supporting your message, it's distracting from it.

Anytime you want to plan out movement, just remember CADY.

Clear intention
Action that's real
Direction that's gentle, not forced
Yourself. Give yourself guideposts to let you be yourself

Your brand is special.

It’s everything you’ve cultivated and continue to grow into. It’s the people you work with, and the standards you uphold. It’s the process(es) you’ve built, tested, and continue to refine. It’s the people you choose to partner with, because your values align.

There’s so much to celebrate and recognize in a brand. It’s a powerful tool that lets you be instantly recognized and remembered time and time again.

What makes your brand special? Let me know in the comments!

Unless your visuals communicate the same depth and emotion as the current you, it feels like two separate people are fighting for the same attention.

Your message gets jumbled, and your prospects are left confused. If the visual doesn't look like the same person speaking, your words lose authority.

And lost authority slows down your ability to build trust with your audience.

That's more time to convert clients, more work and frustration on your end, and more people who go to your competition instead.

This is why maintaining both updated, insightful, and informative visuals are so important.

Tell me, when you look at your visuals, do they feel like you?
