I agree with this! It’s gotten out of hand, and people don’t know what is real and what isn’t anymore. I will never use AI to advertise my work. My business is built on authenticity and real life and moments that AI simply can’t replicate. And I’m proud of that.

Did you know I do grad photos? When I lived in Saskatchewan I did tons of grad sessions, both casual and formal. When I moved to New Brunswick I focused more on documentary family sessions, but I’m happy when I get asked to do grad photos because sometimes I miss it!

I did this session in 2021 at Killarney Lake and look how beautiful! Both the subject and the location.

I’d love to do more grad sessions. Anyone who books one this fall will get $50 off their session fee! If you know anyone graduation in 2027, let them know!

Fall is here! The most beautiful time of the year! As much as I’m sad to see summer end, there is just something nostalgic and comforting about autumn. Some of my favourite photos of kids have been taken in the fall. What is your favourite part of this season?

Only a few weeks until Apple Orchard Sessions! I have been doing these sessions at Gilbert Farm in Burton since 2018. It’s a beautiful location right on the river, and they have the best apples. Not crazy crowded like bigger orchards, it’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon with your family picking apples and getting photos of the experience.

If apple picking is a regular part of your fall, why not get some photos of it to remember?

While I was in Newfoundland I went to a little abandoned amusement park that was a part of my own childhood.

Back in the 1980s and 90s Trinity Loop was a popular park that I visited with my family. It closed in 2004 and was left abandoned. Today there isn’t much left but you can see the eerie remains of the train tracks for the loop, the wrecked Ferris wheel, an old train car and “Wildlife Museum”.

Fun fact: the train that my grandfather drove was there too. Scroll through and see a photo of me standing in it in the early 90s, along with some other photos of my family’s visit there.
