This is my home. This is where I was meant țo be. Living a couple hundred meters from the river. Like all rivers, it is most expressive during springmelt - revealing its patterns, hues, and textures. But it’s also a storyteller, the flow lines read like lines on a page, tracing the journey of water through the watershed. Pause long enough and you will learn that every river has its own unique story to tell. These two images capture some of the personality and story of my river - taken from the same spot, using different techniques to capture the changing, fleeting hues and a glimpse of what lies beneath the soft veil.
