Back on March 19th, 2019 West Vancouver Fire crews responded underneath the Lions Gate Bridge for a possible homeless camp on fire. While responding, crews heard multiple explosions coming from the location. Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke and flames showing. Firefighters got the fire quickly contained and put it after an hour of arriving.
West Van E1, E3, E4, Tower 1, Duty Chief were assigned.

North Vancouver District Fire, RCMP, BCEHS & BC Hydro responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident where a car crashed into a pole on Capilano Road. Hydro is still trying to restore power in the area. It's unknown if there are any injuries.

1 impaired driver was under arrested after this Motor Vehicle Accident on Capilano Road on May 7th, 2018. No injuries were reported but both vehicles are a total loss when he (the Mercedes Benz) lost control and hit a parked car.
