Hello Friends! One of my services as a photographer is doing visual art and exhibition documentation work for visual artists and galleries. This is how I first met North Bay artist, Freda Barrett. Unfortunately Freda passed away in the fall of 2021.

For the past few weeks I have been documenting and cataloging her remaining works of art for her family. I’m happy to share that Freda Barrett’s online gallery is now live for viewing:

I’m so excited to share that seven different 2004 limited edition art posters, sourced from festival archives are available for sale at & in - and also new Ice Follies toques at The Farm!!! The posters are large panoramic images printed on 80lb semi gloss paper, featuring images taken with my Hasselblad medium format camera that I had just purchased by pure luck from local legendary photographer William Forder’s estate and family. All proceeds from the sales will go to the Ice Follies Biennial. Be sure to fill out and get stamps with downtown purchases and then bring your completed Downtown + Ice Follies cards to the box at Shabogesic Beach to be eligible to win a $150 prize package!! 🌟💓Thank you to The Farm & Michelle’s The Framemaker & Gallery for your support!

The first two images are of ’s installation called “The Ice Follies Experience”, the third is “Visit to the Underwater World of Gichi-Nibiinsing-Zaag’igan by Vancouver based artist, Dr. T’uy’t’tanat Cease Wyss, fourth is “Ice Shack”, part of Aanmitaagzi’s “All My R(el)ations” installations, 5th image is “Albert” by Isabelle Michaud, photo 6 is “Im-pulse” by Chris Kozloski and Nipissing Fine Art Students, the 7th image is by Public Visualization Studio called “Innumerable Ones” and the 8th image is of “Roof of Reprieve” by Caroline Kajorinne Krievin & Elizabeth Hill. 🎉
