There is something hypnotic about the way the train carves through the quiet of the mountains.

That is the absolute dream scenario! Morant’s Curve can sometimes require hours of waiting in the freezing cold just to see a single engine, so skipping the “freeze your toes off” stage is a massive win.

They say patience is a virtue, but I’ll take “getting the shot 30 seconds after parking” any day. We pulled up to the curve just as the rails started humming. A little bit of mountain magic and a lot of good timing.
“Would you wait 3 hours for this view, or are you team ‘Instant Luck’?”

Lost in the vastness of the cosmos and the silence of the mountains. A perfect moment of stillness at Canmore. Weather wasn’t favourable during my trip, I was only able to take few shots during one night when Sky was clear.
Single shot, just before it got really really windy and also we had to leave because it was getting too quite and too dark around us 🤣
