Finding a moment amidst the summer flow, to share, to reminisce and celebrate all of the gorgeous photos I have had the opportunity to take this past season. Taking a moment to share this gallery, a few moons ago with Sydney & Reed, and their sweet sun in womb. Now who has arrived earthside not too long ago.

These photos I feel capture the sweetness of S & R’s love, and the life that’s about to bloom from the womb. A devotional journey that lies ahead - these images brought me so much joy to work on, as does most of my work these days. I will say, motherhood takes the cake most of the time though, as there is a preciousness that cannot quite be named, but I pray radiates through the imagery I get to co create 🤍

Finding a moment amidst my summer filled days to share some favorites from my time with Alicia Mori Palfenier and her darling family. This sweet session was so lovely. Soaking up beautiful blooms on their family property, their two girls running around and warming up to the camera, and Alicia boldly allowing me to witness this season for her even if it was just for a moment.

Creating room to celebrate and honor women is such a gift in this line of art + heart work for me. Women are so powerful. I’m so grateful for this gentle invitation, to document this third pregnancy for Alicia and her family, and to offer them imagery that will last many more lifetimes to look back on in awe🤍

Moving with the winds, held by ancient mountains. Lands holding and humming alongside courageous women. Traveling far and wide, answering a call deep within their bones.

Women are so powerful and beautiful. It was a gift to witness such beauty, healing and community convergence at earth daughters this year. I’ve been deeply admiring this shoot I did with the lovely DEBRA KHNG who came all the way from Singapore to join this years gathering, and it was such an honor when she asked to do a 1:1 shoot with me there. I was exhausted, tired and recovering from being sick all weekend amongst working so hard. This sweet woman welcomed me with compassion and grace, and we still made magic happen. We made room to drop in and co regulate. From there we were able to honor her, witness her, celebrate her and the big journey she took to be here.

Thank you sweet Debra for your beauty, and courage in being seen and celebrated. It was a gift to make magic with you and document you on these lands during such a special gathering 🌀

Women! We are less than 24 hours away..can you feel the pulse deep inside of your bones and your womb? Calling you back into the village, into sisterhood, into love and into the heart. I cannot wait to dance with you all, and celebrate your beauty and holiness. It is such a gift to document something so sacred.. I cannot wait to photograph you all. See you in the meadow..oh so soon✨

Reflecting on these images from the Songkeepers. The power that lives in community and the strength that is remembered when we come together and sing, share our hearts and the tales of our ancestors.

Remembrance is awakened through our shared song
We honor those that have walked before and weave new stories with a thread of gold that has been passed down to us from generations. Women coming together and singing to the greater collective has been one of the most profound experiences I’ve gotten to have, hand in hand with all these powerful women. We sing, we cry, we wail, we grieve, we honor and deeply empower. It was such a gift to document some of these women who I now sing strongly beside. 🤍

Imagery for ember • kind

I could barely contain myself in the studio, my heart and body wanted to move and dance with every cell of my being. Immersing myself as a witness and observing with excitement, curiosity and immense reverence behind my camera was such a gift. The work that Sophie does is so inspiring, thought provoking and an invitation to explore deeper within yourself through movement and loving awareness. It was such a blessing to be a part of this collaborative morning class. Thank you for having me🤍
