As photographers we spend a lot of time behind the camera... but every once in a while it is good to get on the other side of the lens and remind ourselves what if feels like to be in front of the camera. Yes! I was nervous. Yes! I didn't know what do do with my hands. Yes! I was worried about capturing my "best side". Thanks to for putting me at ease and creating some fabulous summer fun headshots!

absolutely brought the energy to this sportswear session!

With bold, classic sports lighting and crisp rim light, we created images that highlight both the performance and style of each piece.

Keeping the set clean and minimal let the apparel take centre stage, while every pose showcased the confidence, movement, and strength these designs are made for.

This session was all about capturing the outfit with a polished, editorial feel, and I can't wait to share the final images.

It’s incredible how much creativity can flourish with minimal equipment. For this shoot, we delved into a series of yoga poses with Kali Goldwing . Using a seamless grey paper backdrop that extended beneath the model, along with a side light and some projected light, we were able to craft a unique atmosphere and convey a strong message.

To get the desired effect, I needed to place the strobe carefully, ensuring it illuminated only the model without spilling onto the backdrop. I decreased the strobe’s power significantly and adjusted the aperture accordingly. I then employed a technique called "dragging" the shutter to bring out the colours in the background.

One of the key challenges was guiding the model to position her face and eyes perfectly within the light projection. It required some finesse to achieve just the right look.

Captured with a Nikon D850 and a 24-70mm lens at F8 with a shutter speed of 1/10, this setup allowed for some beautiful results.

Digital files are convenient…
But wall art is where the magic actually lives.
While It is easy to quickly scroll past the photos on your phone, wall art becomes part of your daily life, where it is easy to pause, reflect and embrace the people and moments of your life.

How many family photos do you have on your phone? How many family photos surround you on your walls?

There’s something truly captivating about high contrast black and white imagery. It cuts through the noise, transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary visuals.

The geometric shapes and lines that emerged during this shoot are simple yet add an energizing dynamism to the shots. Sometimes less is truly more. Every shadow holds potential and every highlight finds its significance.

Had an amazing shoot with showcasing the latest in sportswear! The classic sports lighting in the studio created such an incredible atmosphere, featuring hard rim light that perfectly accentuated the outfit. The simple set allowed the clothing to take centre stage, and it was all about that fresh, energetic vibe.

Ximena brought her A-game, radiating confidence and strength. There’s something so inspiring about seeing the blend of fashion and fitness come to life—this outfit is designed for movement, style, and comfort, making it perfect for hitting the gym.

Can't wait to share more from this session.

Most of the time, you will see that I have employed strobes, flash or reflectors in my photographs. That is for two reasons.

✨ I love getting creative with light.
✨ Adding light helps balance the ambient light and gives me more control over the final image.

Sometimes, however, mother nature steps right in and provides all the elements.

This shot was made in the late afternoon. The sky was overcast and the sun had dipped behind the mountain so we were blessed with a giant softbox in the sky that filtered down soft natural light illuminating . The darker trees and grass in the background created a beautiful contrast between Julia's skin and the environment. Finally the lupins provided colour and framing for the image.

Thank you mother nature.
