Last night’s Aurora Chase: I put in the effort. The clouds did not. 😂🌌

Fought clouds all evening, you can see the pretty colours behind them. Then finally got a clear sky… just in time for the aurora to settle into a quiet little green arc! 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Not the spectacular show I was hoping for, but I did come home with a few interesting shots, including the Milky Way and a sunflower silhouette with a meteor sneaking through behind it! 🌻☄️

Last night’s Aurora Chase: I put in the effort. The clouds did not. 😂🌌

Fought clouds all evening, you can see the pretty colours behind them. Then finally got a clear sky… just in time for the aurora to settle into a quiet little green arc! 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Last night’s sunset over a sunflower field…. I’m not sure there’s much else I can say about this one?! 👌🏻🌻😍

A little reminder for fellow sunflower lovers: sunflower fields are gorgeous, but they’re someone’s crop first. 🌻 Please don’t enter fields without the grower’s permission, and leave those beautiful sunflower heads right where they are. No photo is worth damaging the crop!

There are plenty of beautiful views to be found from a respectful distance! 💛

Well… technically, the Northern Lights showed up last night! 😂

A very faint little glimmer from the ladies’ tee box on 18, with a healthy layer of wildfire smoke doing its best to ruin the view. 😔👎🏻

🌕 The moon had a little Christmas-tree moment last night 😂

The waning Buck Moon rose behind a spruce tree, and when it reached the top, it looked an awful lot like a Christmas tree with a glowing star on top! ⭐️🌲

With a feels-like of +39° today, I figured we could all use a little Christmas-in-August cool-down!!😂❄️
