A close up of a very small portion of the very small amount of the Milky Way that we can see, taken from the same spot, on the same night, as my last post. I took this with my Sigma 105mm F1.4 Art lens, which, oddly enough, was designed as an astrophotography lens, but became coveted for portraits because of its stellar optics, pun intended.

Hatley Castle, after > before.
Some photoshop work on this one. There are a lot of tourists, and getting a clean shot just wasn't going to happen. Plus they have this big white shelter set up, that blocks the Castle and just doesn't look right in pictures.
Using the remove tool I edited out the 5 or 6 people on the terrace(?) , and used Generative fill ai to to remove the shelter, then back to the remove tool to erase the poles. Worked really well, you can barely notice the work, unless you know what you are looking for. You'll have to pinch and zoom to see the people, as it's a very wide angle photo, terrible for social media. But a good example of how far Photoshop has taken this AI thing to a practical and very useful new realm.
