We took a two day trip into Victoria with a side tour into Butchard Gardens for their Christmas light display. Here are a few shots to show what was there. Very little editing was done to any of the pictures, all turned out as planned.

Well, today I really felt energetic and decided to out to Englishman River Park. Last time I was here, part of the trail was closed off. Now everything was opened and I was able to go around the trails. It was a stark reminder of how dry the forest is and how low the water levels were.

Getting to this particular location was really a trek and a half. We could only go so far with the car before we had to park on the side of the road and then hiking for an hour before getting to the top. Well worth the effort as is evident by the photos.
